The Westcountry Game Fair, now in it’s fourteenth year is the perfect place to experience all that the countryside has to offer
From countryside pursuits, rural crafts to the delights of countryside cuisine
Featuring...
- Two action-packed arenas (one indoors and one outdoors) with a variety of demonstrations from falconry to fly casting and gundog training to ferrets. Also featuring a hunt parade (Sunday only)
- Have-a-go activities including: Clay Shooting; Air Rifles; Fly Casting; Gundog Scurries; Archery and much more!
- (BASC) British Association for Shooting and Conservation Shooting School and Clay Shooting with Purbeck Shooting (fibre wads used only)
- Cookery theatre: will host experts who will tempt you with a selection of tasty treats to re-create at home!
- Vintage tractors and machinery.
- Gundog Eye Testing: We still have a few spaces available on Sunday 14th March. Book and pay in advance on 01392 421500.
- Smallholders area: bringing together people who have an interest in rural activities or would like to learn more.
- Over 200 trade stands with a wide selection of countryside shopping, local produce and crafts.
- Terrier & Lurcher Show - Qualifier for the Countryman's Weekly Champion of Champions at the Midland Game Fair in September.
There will also be Terrier & Lurcher Racing. (parking not onsite, but close by) - Samsalin Dog Creche.
