Terry Large Falconry: Swooping in to Show
Falconry Displays are wonderful events to witness, the control of the Falconers and the power and close proximity of these wonderfully wild creatures can thrill a crowd in a way which is reminiscent of the open mouthed “Ah’s” normally associated with a firework display.
Terry Large, an established and ever popular Falconer will be performing such a demonstration at this year’s Kent Game Fair, taking place at the Kent Showground, Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th March 2008. This spectacle will be amongst one of the many varieties of countryside entertainment and education available to see and take part in as this anticipated event returns for its thirteenth year.
During his twice-daily display, Terry will excite the watching crowds with the power and grace of Falcons & Owls. There will even be an opportunity for some of the lucky spectators to get up-close and personal when members of the public are invited into the arena to handle the birds themselves. These beautiful Raptors (Birds of Prey) will also be on display throughout the day in a dedicated area, where inquisitive members of the public can view them and cure their curiosity by talking to Terry Large who will be on hand to advise and even point potential Falconers in the right direction.
