This internationally acclaimed champion will entertain and educate in two different yet inspiring demonstrations showing the complexities of show jumping.

Andrew Hamilton

Accomplished horsewoman and carriage driver Amanda Saville will demonstrate driving of a hair’s breadth accuracy, skill, verve and total trust between Amanda and her ponies. The performance is enhanced by a natural running commentary from Amanda to explain what is happening and who the ponies are. Many of them have been rescued and have stories to tell.

Carriage Driving games Competition

Two exciting demonstrations each day from this renown three-day event rider. The first will be basic training of the event horse and the second will be Cross Country technique.

Ian, 53 has been a member of the British team since 1984. He has competed in five Olympics – Los Angeles in 1984 through to Sydney in 2000 and has won four Olympic silver medals.

He has won Badminton three times including being the only person to ever be 1st & 2nd in the same year, 1988.

Ian received the MBE in 1989 and the OBE in 2001.


Stallion Parade Showing Master Class
(Sunday only) A fabulous selection of regional stallions will take part in a stunning display to music.
(Saturday only) Top producer and judge Jerome Harforth will run a showing master class featuring a selection of breeds including mountain and Moorland, hunters and many more.
Pony Club horse & hound team jumping challenge:
Four pony club teams will compete in a fast and fun-filled challenge with horses, riders and dogs…not to be missed! Get ready to cheer them on!
